Abstract

Remote surgery requires near-zero latency to ensure patient safety. This research evaluates the performance of haptic feedback systems over a private 5G network infrastructure. We demonstrate that 5G significantly reduces packet loss and jitter compared to 4G LTE, enabling surgeons to perform suturing tasks remotely with a precision comparable to in-person procedures.
