Swarm Robotics in Disaster Response: A Distributed Control Approach

This paper presents a novel algorithm for coordinating swarms of autonomous drones in search and rescue missions. Unlike centralized systems, our distributed control approach allows the swarm to maintain cohesion even when communication with the base station is lost. Simulation results show a 30% improvement in area coverage speed compared to single-agent systems.
